Air Transportation

Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport (PHX) is located approximately 15 minutes from most Commodity Classic hotels. Phoenix Sky Harbor is a hub for US Airways and Southwest Airlines. Other airlines include AirCanada, Alaska Air, American, Delta, Frontier, Great Lakes, Jet Blue, Spirit, Sun Country, United, Volaris and WestJet.

Ground Transportation Airport Shuttle

SuperShuttle is a shared ride van service to and from the airport operating 24 hours a day. Rates to Commodity Classic hotels vary based on distance from the airport and range from $13 to $17 one-way and $26 to $34 round-trip. Book online to receive a discount of $2 off one-way or $4 off round-trip. Online reservations are required for the discount. Reservations may also be made by phone at (602) 244-9000. A $2 service charge will apply to phone reservations. Please note: some Commodity Classic hotels offer airport shuttle service; please check with your hotel for availability and rates. 

 

Private Group Transportation

Production Transport, the official supplier of ground transportation services for Commodity Classic, offers private shuttles, sedan transfers, and charter group transportation. Consider their services if you have a large group of attendees you need to pick up at the same time from any Phoenix-area airport or special guests you would like to transport. Taxi

Taxi fares from the airport to the downtown hotel area are approximately $25 per taxicab. Rates are the same regardless of number of passengers. Travel within the downtown area is a minimum charge of $5.

 

Rental Car

Approximately 14 rental car companies are located at the Phoenix Sky Harbor’s Rental Car Center, located close to the airport. A common Rental Car Shuttle makes stops continuously at the airport baggage claim level to bring passengers to the Rental Car Center. If you are planning to rent a car at Phoenix Sky Harbor, be sure to make a reservation. Vehicles are limited for walk-up customers. Getting Around Town

The METRO light rail system provides access to shops, dining, museums and attractions within downtown Phoenix and nearby communities of Mesa and Tempe. 

 

A one-way pass costs $2 and an all-day pass costs $4. 

 

Pedal Cabs are a unique transportation method in downtown Phoenix – drivers of these human-powered cycles are available to move you between hotels, eateries and the Phoenix Convention Center.
