Learn about Ag’s Newest Trends at Commodity Classic
Countdown to Classic – 15 days Until Commodity Classic
ST. LOUIS (February 17, 2010)—In two weeks, soybean, corn, wheat and sorghum growers from around the country will gather at Commodity Classic in Anaheim, Calif., for an experience that will educate, enlighten and entertain. It’s an event that provides benefits for a grower’s farm operation and profitability for years to come.
The 15th Annual Commodity Classic will help growers “Cruise to Success” by offering educational sessions on topics such as farm financial strategies, climate change, insect resistance management and ag-based biofuels.
“Agriculture faces new challenges every year,” said Commodity Classic Co-chair Dennis Bogaards. “Commodity Classic’s educational sessions and opportunities to speak with other growers and industry leaders will arm attendees with the tools they need to overcome these challenges and increase the profitability of their farming operation.”
In addition to educational opportunities, attendees will enjoy exhibits from over 200 companies in more than 820 booths. Also on display in the registration area will be famed auto designer Chip Foose’s 1956 Ford F100 pickup truck. This is the same truck featured on the popular TV show Overhaulin’ on TLC.
The Commodity Classic grand finale will be the Evening of Entertainment on March 6. The Grammy award-winning Nitty Gritty Dirt Band will delight the crowd with a performance.
Commodity Classic, to be held March 4-6, is the premier convention and trade show of the U.S. corn, soybean, sorghum and wheat industries. Pre-registration for the convention ends Feb. 19 and on-site registration begins March 3 (based on availability).
