Highlights from Commodity Classic 2009 in Grapevine, Texas

• The Commodity Classic General Session featured emcee Mark Mayfield, better known as “The Corporate Comedian,” Sam Glenn, one of the nation’s top motivational speakers and author of “A Kick in the Attitude” and discussions with the four commodity association presidents. 

• With 236 companies exhibiting in 943 booths, the sold-out Commodity Classic Trade Show set a record as the largest show in the history of Commodity Classic.  The trade show has more than doubled in size since the first Commodity Classic in 1996! 

• The Commodity Classic Evening of Entertainment was a star-studded event featuring two Grammy award-winning acts:  singer, songwriter and actress Pam Tillis and the classic cowboy quartet Riders In The Sky.

• More growers attended Commodity Classic in 2009 than in 2008—1,513—with total attendance of 4,527!
